Not quite done yet, but the end is approaching. With the arrival of gardening season (and schlepping artwork to galleries), studio time has become a bit more limited. And my 2 older cats have become full-time moochers. They’ve figured it out that if they charm their way into my studio, Momcat will dish up the “cat cookies” over and over. Then they want to climb up onto my setup, rearranging things to their liking so they can take a nap. Anyway — I’m getting down to the details like painting in the little holes in the Chinese checker board and making sure the shadows are somewhat believable. All this is in between running out to scare off the rotten squirrels that want to hog the suet feeder in front of the studio.
Ah, the vicissitudes of life!
