Bennett Road

My setup this afternoon

The clouds were so interesting I had to get out to paint this afternoon. And what did I paint? A field, of course! Clouds were secondary. But the wind — ever try to paint a straight horizon line in a strong wind? Hah! This was painted on Bennett Road, about 1 1/2 miles from my house, just off US 31. I love looking at the designs in the plowed fields. And in the fall, the grass has perked up and grows like mad in the most intense green! Yes, I know — I need to tweak that gold tree in the far right. Fighting the wind had worn me out!
