The Potting Shed

A gorgeous-but-chilly day, I had a hankering to go plein air painting. But I decided to “shelter in place” right at home. This is the view of my orchard and berry patch, looking out to my little potting shed. I decided to toss my gear into my wagon (why suffer needlessly?). And yes, that’s a bag of Michigan peat in there. Why lift 40 pounds if you don’t need to?

Yes, that’s my devoted cat, Picasso. He follows me everywhere and hangs by my side the whole time I’m painting. He’s giving himself a bath. Cleaning up so he can go roll in the dirt again.
