Dead People’s Stuff is in Northport, Michigan. My favorite store. If there was a ferry to schlep me across Grand Traverse Bay, I could get there in about 20 minutes. Alas, it’s about a 2 hour drive from Eastport, so I don’t get there too often. David is the owner and mastermind of the place. Ever in search of the silly and bizarre, I’ve found some of my best treasures there, from a sparkly statuette of Liberace to antique monkey figures fashioned from leather to a 5-foot tall dragon skeleton. Hopefully I’ve captured the “zen of David Chrobak”….
