I Forget Where….

Two friends and I went toodling around Suttons Bay and Leeland and decided to stop and paint this view. Every time I see my friend Lori approach me with a camera, I bust out laughing. I tell her “Stop making me look like such a crazy person!” It never works.

The sun would come out; the sun would hide behind clouds. Stuff to drive a beginner crazy. But, as my old teacher, Clyde Aspevig, told us — just paint in your shadows and leave them there. Don’t keep trying to chase things around.
