It was a gorgeous day to be out painting! This is one of my favorite roads, just off M88, past King’s Market. We’d had a few days of soaking rains and now some of the fields were looking quite brilliant shades of green. The corn is late this year, too, and still shows quite green. The tassels always get an interesting shade of mauve. A few reddish maple leaves have collected along the road already. Fall is on its way!
