Today was spent schlepping artwork from one place to another. Sigh. Had no time to paint at all, but I thought I’d post something I’d done a few years ago. There was a big pumpkin patch on Rex Beach Road (in between Eastport and Charlevoix). At the risk of being run off by an angry farmer with a shotgun (!), I carefully drove into his field, parked and set up. Ah — one thing you should know about painting a field of pumpkins: if you’re not careful, they will look like a field of basketballs. Yes, dear friends — painting can be tricky….
