Day 2: Indian Corn

Glad I’d thought to set up a still life to have something to peck away on during this cold, rainy spell. No fun trying to paint landscapes in a cold drizzle and blowing mist, hounded by mosquitoes, gnats, etc. Been there, done that. I’m too old for suffering needlessly. I worked on the shadows a bit more and started addressing the corn husks, listening to the classical music station. The key to painting corn husks is similar to painting glass — just keep calm and try to avoid panic. At least that’s my advice….
