Yes, the red is too warm/bright, but my main concern today was to try and get those blossoms nailed in. It’s a bit tricky with the blossoms in the shade of the dish. But it’s coming along. That shade of green is from a different paint manufacturer that I normally use. It frustrated me by being very transparent. Ugh! Question: will I ever return to plein air landscapes? Yes! Winter has been agonizingly slow to leave northern Michigan this year, but warmer (and drier!) days are ahead. Or so they say.
