Here’s a closeup of what I was trying to do today. I had to fight the panic of not having any decent real roses (and leaves) and just use my imagination to do the best I could. The roses I bought a couple days ago gave up the ghost all too quickly. It was a good thing I’d bought a silk rose or I’d have been sunk! Here’s a photo of the real ones today:
