This is at the stage where it’s either going to be wonderful or pitiful. I woke up at some point during the night, thinking about this painting. Is it going to look great — or not? Everything’s an experiment. Nothing is easy. I love challenging myself; I hate stuff that’s too easy. So this might turn out good. An inner voice (a.k.a. my “muse”) told me hey — it’s OK! Good that you’re experimenting! What if Pissarro or Van Gogh never experimented? So — we’ll see how it goes in the coming days.

Yes – this is coming right along. You know how I love your paintings of glass! However, I got a bit concerned about the blue bowl on the left being too prominent … but the blue on the right balances it beautifully! I vote with your muse. It is going to be great!
