As I always say, “This is about as done as it’s gonna get!” The last thing I did on this was to paint in the bumps (“warts”) on the deer antlers. I’d overlooked them.
But the “dots” were important; they complimented all the dots in the fabric. Believe it or not, I left out a lot of details. Yes, there were more! The fabric was from someplace in Indonesia or Thailand.
I found this bobcat on FB Marketplace last summer. A few days ago I woke up with an inspiration from my “early morning muse”: put the bobcat in that still life! He was fun to paint. As was the alligator purse (from eBay). Hmmmm….. what next?
