Ah! What a great way to spend Halloween — painting scary pumpkins while sitting in a nice, warm studio with my cats, sipping coffee and listening to the stereo. Outside the storm rages. Rain, leaves blowing. Nothing at all like yesterday. I’d been thinking about doing this painting for well over a month, but first there were gardening chores, lawn furniture to put away, etc. And at last I’d finally found a perfect use for that frame. Some years ago I was in a resale shop with my friend Linda when I spied this. It’s pretty old and semi-dilapidated. Like it might have come over on the Mayflower. I was hesitant. My friend urged me to buy it. Glad I listened to her!
