I only had a couple hours to work on this one and I couldn’t resist starting to put in bits of color. That’s a vase of fake zinnias. Probably the most beautiful fakes I’d ever seen. Snagged them at a resale shop in Petoskey. And that crazy bowl on the left I’ve tried painting probably 5 or 6 times — and it hasn’t gotten any easier. The fabric drives me crazy, too. But I’m sure I’ll figure it out, Rain is in our forecast for the next several days and it’s a good thing. Less garden chores mean more time in the studio. Housework??? Hah!
