Or at least that’s what it’s looking like today! Just for the heck of it I thought I’d see if I could do a larger version of a painting I’d painted on the beach some years ago. It’s pretty challenging to try to paint large landscapes – and do them well! — but I’d become rather exhausted from painting roses lately. Might as well try something new! Gardening season is just beginning up here and some of my time will be devoted to that. And as soon as the orchards come into bloom, I’ll be out, trying to do a decent orchard-in-bloom painting! Is anybody ever really satisfied with those?
