Yesterday afternoon I decided to go ahead and start painting with these poor roses. I bought them a week ago and have cut the stems 4 of 5 times and have changed their water (warm) many times, but they just won’t open any further. Figured I may as well try to paint them before they shrivel up and die. That’s a silk scarf I found in an antique store last weekend. I love painting with lots of contrasting colors, so I think it’s just the ticket.
