A pretty gloomy day as usual here in NW Michigan. I had to imagine where shadows would be. Also “invented” a shallow dish underneath the second orchid pot. Started painting in some of the blossoms, occasionally interrupted by one of the cats, demanding attention. It’s Thanksgiving today and I’m grateful for a nice, warm studio, a peaceful day to paint — and my 3 cat-babies: Picasso, Mr. Wonderful and Bernie Sanders.
