One day it’ll be sunny. The next day it’ll be dark and rainy, making things a bit tricky. Should I show shadows or not? Early on, I painted some in, but I thought they looked way too confusing. So I painted them out. The magic of the brush! To clear my head I tromo out to the potting shed and visit my little seedlings. Or I’ll lug a ladder around for a while, followed by a cat or two. Sometimes I’ll lay old boards on my little swamp path, serenaded by cluckings of an early wood frog. The first of the turkey vultures circle overhead. These things help clear my head for “what to do next”. I think this is almost done. Just needs a tad more “mopping up”.
Day 5: Still Slugging Away on the Tulips
