These lilies were kind of smooshed (from the grocery store). I got them a couple days ago and figured I should attempt painting them today before they “up & died”. It was a struggle. Lilies always are just a bitch. Then I really wanted to give the background an all-over coat of purple before I quit today. It should be dry in a couple days and I’ll paint in the patterns. That’s one of those vintage Hippie bedspreads from out of the 70’s.
