Sunny & 6″ of Snow!

It was a rare thing: a bright, sunny day — and 6″ of fresh snow! I had to get outside and do a little painting. And shoveling.

My loyal cat, Picasso, follows me everywhere!
After traipsing all around my property – even down to the creek – I settled on this spot — right off my front porch!

This was a little trickier to paint than you’d think. And I had to take off my down coat. I was roasting in the hot sun! Curious chickadees fluttered all around me.
