- I woke up in the middle of the night, inspired to do a wild painting of piggies and ears of corn. But today I ended up composing something totally WITHOUT any pigs or ears of corn. Couldn’t say why. Instead, it’ll be a wild hodgepodge of things blue, white and screaming-orange. It was blessedly cool here this morning, so I ran around, planting flowers and pulling weeds until about noon. Then I retreated to the studio and started drawing this one in. The caladium leaves are going to be twisting around, searching for the light, so I’ll get them painted ASAP.
