Ralph’s Truck

“Ralph’s Truck” — plein air field study in oil on 8×10″ birch by Margie Guyot

Sorry about the photo. My camera is old and cranky. Like its owner. It’s been dropped several times. The viewing screen is full of cracks and the macro focus gave up long ago. It was a wickedly hot, muggy afternoon. Blinding sunlight. I found a shady spot at Pine Hill Nursery and painted this view of Ralph’s truck. I’m just a sucker for shiny, red things. Especially if I can stand in the shade while painting them.
