My Studio – June Afternoon

Here’s my setup today.

I’d spent much of the day ripping out an old, dead grape vine from my grape arbor. Snipping dead pieces, picking them all up, shoveling sunflower hulls, pulling weeds. Then I hung my collection of “shell things” to try to make things interesting.

Then it was time to check the mail. I was pretty tired out by then but when I saw this wonderful, shady view of my studio, I perked up. Nothing like sudden inspiration!

Did I stop then? Hah! Revved up the lawn mower and spiffed things up. Now — where’s my Aleve? And a beer…..
