The other day I went in for a teeth-cleaning. As my dentist leaned in for a good, close scrutiny, I got a sudden inspiration: I NEEDED to do a portrait of him in his “getup”. The next morning I returned with my camera and he graciously posed, holding a sharp instrument. The sunflower painting I’d started can wait! Not quite done with this yet, but lots of headway was made!
