No cats in this photo (for a change) but let me assure you: they were here earlier and thoroughly enjoyed rearranging the fabric and feathers. The most challenging thing I did today was to try to paint in the leather strips at the end of the shaman’s turtle shell rattle. The warts on the pumpkin were a joy, however.
I have no idea what variety of pumpkin this is. I’d never seen one this red before. It makes all the other pumpkins look anemic. I’ll save some seeds and see if I can grow one next year. Let’s hope we don’t get another major flood….!
