October hits and suddenly there are mountains of pumpkins everywhere. This area is prime for pumpkin-growing (and apples & corn), so I can’t resist painting those gorgeous orbs. This is one I did last year.
No, I didn’t drop dead. I’ve been horribly busy this past month, scurrying around to button up things before winter hits. There are statues to be tarped over, fountains to drain, wire deer cages to set around “delicious” plants, lawn furniture to pack away, etc. I’m almost done, so I expect to get out and paint some of the beautiful fall colors very soon.
