A dark, gloomy, cloudy day, which is just what I needed to work on this. I darkened the shadow areas a bit, but I can see they need further darkening. At least I got all the purple circely-thingies painted in. That was a bit tricky, to try to get them to lay flat & recede. I had to stop at this point because everything was ooey- gooey. Just as well — I drove out to a seasonal road and dug up 2 buckets of goldenrod plants. Came home and planted them in the front yard. I’m giving up the “manicured, golf-course look” in favor of natural landscaping. Another big plus: deer don’t like goldenrod…..
