I couldn’t resist. I love caladiums — and I love this bobcat. The last painting had caladiums in it and they were just too pretty to throw out. So I painted “as fast as my feet could carry me” today, trying to nail down the leaves. Tomorrow they’ll all be twisted and turned towards the light. Even the fabric underneath the caladiums is a repeat item from the last painting, I’d folded it up to store away, but the bright, cheery colors seemed to be saying, “Noooo! Paint me! Paint me again!” Hmmmm…. that never happens to me with beige…..
