
If you’ve been following these posts, you might be thinking what’s new? What’s different today? Small things, actually. Some shadows deepened, the green on the tablecloth was intensified. Edges were cleaned up and defined. The corn kernels and husks remain “matters of mystery”. If I didn’t have yardwork to keep up with, I’d surely go mad. Setting down my brush for a while to go out and mow the lawn probably keeps me from going berserk, paralyzed by all the details. Step away from a painting for a while. Then when you come back to it, things that need fixing will jump right out at you. At least that’s my excuse….
