Pink Princess and Cat Teapots

Pink Princess is a variety of philodendron that I found in the grocery store a few weeks ago. I think it’s spectacular, so of course I’ve felt the need to use it in paintings — at least until gardening season hits. Oh, and the plein air landscape painting takes hold as well.

I’ve had that black cat teapot since about 1978 or so and the striped teapot is almost as old. I think they deserved to be in a painting.

The fabric (I’m guessing) is a section of vintage curtain panel.
