I’d started painting this several years ago, then set it aside. Wasn’t quite sure what to do with the composition. Maybe the fairies would finish it for me. A few days ago I found it in the back room, gathering spiderwebs and dust. Could it be “resurrected”? How could I fix it?

I added a few more orchids, a conch shell and my two cats, Picasso and Mr. Wonderful. I think it’s done….. at last! Also — to my great surprise, I realized I actually like painting orchids!
