“Summer Bouquet”

OK, I’m calling this “done”! After spending about a week on this, I’m certainly ready to get back to plein air landscapes! Rain is in the forecast, but —-! All the flowers are from my yard — at least, the ones the wicked deer didn’t get. They’ve developed a taste for the choicest buds. Yes, I use Deer Out. And the tablecloth and vase are from antique stores. The lily pond is made-up.

I look forward to using this tablecoth again in another painting. All mussed-up and wrinkled, of course…..
