New Year’s Eve in the Orchard

The forecast was for a mix of rain and snow, but I was in the mood to get out and paint. I thought for sure I’d be making a hasty retreat at some point, but the wet stuff held off. Yeaaaay! I love this view. Every day as I walk through the apple orchard on the way out to feeding the resident possum – he/she lives under the potting shed – I look up through the branches. Ahhh – so wild! So abstract! This is the third painting I’ve done on this theme so far. There will be more….
