I apologize for the eerie colors in this photo. know just enough Photoshop to be dangerous. But I can’t seem to get the color on this one quite right. This one is from my painting session yesterday, parked along North Dennis Road. As I mentioned yesterday, this is a very muddy seasonal road. Fortunately it was relatively dry — only one mud puddle in the whole stretch. I love painting this road — it’s very serene. Thick maple woods on both sides. A few beech here and there. A sheep ranch down at one end. I can usually count on at least one farmer to come along and check on me, making sure I’m not trying to shoot deer on their property. Once they realize I’m harmless, they’re quite friendly.
Here’s my setup:

The eerie color on N Dennis rd is quite effective, do another with the same pallet; interesting Jim Gibbons
