I love this road. It’s barely a mile past my house. One of the many “seasonal roads” around here. Unplowed in winter. Quagmire after a heavy rain. I was glad my truck has 4WD low gear — I’d pulled off onto the shoulder to park and the tires had sunk into deep sand.

To the left is woodland; to the right is a big cherry orchard. In the distance are some young cherry trees on the horizon. I found a nice, shady spot to stand in — roasting in the hot sun is a young person’s game. No cars came by and it was quite peaceful. Here’s my setup:
