This is actually Day 2. Yesterday it looked rather ghastly. Hard to photograph. I didn’t want to insult my followers by posting it. Of course I’m posting it now — ha ha! Maybe it wouldn’t have looked so awful if I’d painted more of the orchid first. But those stripes on the fabric captured my attention. HAD to nail those suckers first!
Then of course Picasso decided he wanted to camp out on precisely the spot that I needed to see to paint.
So we’ll see what tomorrow brings…..
