Strangely enough, when the sun finally pops through — after weeks of gloom — it’s actually rather annoying! I had to go shopping for a couple hours (poor me!) because the canvas was flooded with sunlight and shadows. It’s really confusing to work under those conditions. Then the poor roses are wilting. I certainly have the excuses today, don’t I? Ha!
