Back to the gloomy, dark fall days. Cloudy skies about 99% of the time. Most of the leaves have fallen. It’s only a matter of time until the ground is white. Sadly, most galleries around here don’t want winter landscape paintings. That’s the one time of the year when I have the most free time to go out painting! Alas! So what to do? Housecleaning, you say? Ha ha ha! Today I was rooting around in the back room and found a rose painting I’d started last spring. Then yardwork hit and it got shoved aside. I drove into town and bought 2 roses this afternoon. So the hunkering-down begins….!
