Started a new one, loaded with roses. As they say (and it’s true!), the first 10,000 are the hardest. After that it’s a snap. I struggled to try to get them nailed today. Grocery store roses could crap out overnight. You just never know. And what’s that thing with the roses?
The first thing I thought of when I woke up was the stuffed bobcat I’d gotten from FB Marketplace. Aha! That would go perfectly with yellow roses!
We had a rare sunny day and while that’s rather cheery, it also can drive a still life painter mad. Every minute the sun moves and the colors change. At least that’s my excuse. But I’m happy that I managed to get so much of this drawn in today.
