Storm Clouds Passing

“Storm Clouds Passing” — plein air field study in oil on birch panel 8 x 16″ by Margie Guyot

Lots of interesting weather up here in northern Michigan lately! I went out late this afternoon and stopped on one of the nearby seasonal roads to paint this. Everything to the right of me was apple and cherry orchards. Everything on the left was just woods. A couple squirrels and chipmunks kept up a chatter. Dark storm clouds were flying by to the south. Squirrels and chipmunks scolded me the whole time.
