The snow has melted — and gardening season has struck! I’ve barely touched this during the past few days. I was getting pretty frustrated about my face. Had to move an eye. Fiddle with my nose. Raise my mouth. And is that hand too big? The beets were easy, though. After cleaning up a rose bed today I wandered into the studio and decided to whack away on this a little. More or less, it’s starting to look a little better. Although tomorrow when I’ll look at it, maybe I’ll cringe. And ahh — the nostrils! I was posed with my head thrown back, in a devil-may-care look.
