We northern Michiganders are so used to overcast winter days that when we finally have a sunny day — it’s kind of annoying! Still, I hated to waste it. Threw my gear into the truck and found this spot on Church Road, just east of Ellsworth. I liked the chunks of blue shadows falling across the road. Oh — and here come the clouds….
