Inspired by our current weather (9 degrees and lots of snow!), I thought it would be fun to use the raging blizzard as a background. The fabric in the foreground is very delicate; some kind of Japanese block-printed design with flowering vines and bluebirds. Maybe if I hurry, I can get another painting out of these tulips — what else is there to do anyway?
