The tulips are still holding on for me, bless their little hearts! Today I began adding the background. That red is a tricky color to match. This photo doesn’t do justice. That’s a hand-woven rug I picked up in a resale shop in Traverse City a couple weeks ago. The red of the rug and the reds of the tulips clash — and I love it! Bright, clashing colors make the world go ’round!
There are a few little places that need touching up. The paint was too gooey to go any further.
