Day 2: Self-Portrait

Kind of a busy day here at Possum Hollow Studio. In the morning I’d watched a YouTube video about hoarders. Frightened the bejesus out of me. I spent at least an hour cleaning off my kitchen table, which probably hadn’t seen the light of day for what? A year? Cleaned off my computer table. Filed recipes. OK, I admit it: I’m one of those people who, when faced with a difficult task (such as painting), will find a dozen other things to do first. I think menial tasks are a way for my brain to find solutions, so why feel guilty? Didn’t get working on this until around 2 PM. By 4 the light was so dim I had to quit.
