My handyman worked elsewhere today so I wasn’t compelled to climb up and down ladders all day. I pulled a few weeds in the morning but eventually knuckled down to the task at hand: painting irises. They’re so much more difficult tan poppies! All those ruffly petals! It was a hot one today and I was glad for “a day of sloth”. The irises won’t last long in this heat, so I was glad I was free to paint a bunch today. Chaos returns tomorrow…
