I realized I was missing doing big, sprawling still lifes. So I started drawing this one in Thursday afternoon. Didn’t get back into the studio until later in the day on Friday. It was a rare, sunny day, so I tried indicating some of the shadows as quickly as possible. Of course it’s rainy again today, so I’ll do what I can. The difference between how things look on a sunny day and a dark, rainy day is amazing. I hesitated writing a post about this, showing daily progress, because it was looking so dismal! But a few friends said they loved seeing step-by-step progress. So here we go!
