Sometimes Facebook will show me an old post from years ago. Lately they’d pulled up some of my old “apples on a vintage tablecloth” paintings and I was reminded of how much I used to enjoy painting them. This morning I rooted around in the fridge and found some semi-withered honeycrisps and laid them on a vintage bedspread. I took great care in drawing things in. I think drawing is almost more fun than the actual painting. Thanks, Betty Edwards, for your wonderful book, “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain”!
