I’m surprised I got as far as I did with this. This morning I did laundry, went down to the store for some fresh ginger, then made a batch of Egyptian lentil soup, then did dishes. Didn’t mosey out to the studio until after lunch. Then I tore into these tulips. Ever try to draw tulips? They’ll just drive you nuts. They “grow” and twist around almost before your eyes. I wanted to get as much done on these as possible because tomorrow they’ll look totally different. And I may not get back to them until Saturday. We have to time our trips to “the big city”, slipping them in between the snowstorms.
