Not a lot of time for painting just lately. Right before the first blizzard of the season everybody scurries around, trying to get things buttoned up in their yards. Deer cages, lawn furniture stashed away, roses covered — the list is endless. Today’s forecast called for 4″ of snow. Kind of a relief, actually. It felt good to just stay home, in the warm studio with the cat, puzzling over this crazy tablecloth! Remind me to burn this cloth when I finish this painting.
